Interviews
Here are some of the interviews that I have done about me, myself, and Curly!
First off we have a video interview that I did with Manny from Healthful Heroes.com, a non-profit organization that works to spread awareness about different chronic illnesses and disabilities by letting people share their journey with the rest of the world. They do a lot of good and should be appreciated and supported by the masses in standing ovations. But for real, Manny and his wife are doing great work and are kind people that deserve recognition.
After that interview was uploaded on Youtube, the cool folks over at Betterauds.com contacted me and wanted to talk a bit more about the artist aspect of living with disabilities. And as the shameless self-promoter that I am, I jumped on the idea and answered a few questions for them. They were nice and included more information and pictures than I first thought, so I am pretty happy with this interview too! An old friend told me that my awful humor shines through, so go and have a read!
Being described as an “…up-and-coming webcomic artist” felt really flattering and it was fun to talk about my webcomic without focusing on my disabilities. I talk about which artists have inspired me, how I came up with Curly, and the creative process behind each page. I also get to share my love for movies and video games, which is something I am more than happy to do!
