Kaz, being ex-military, seems to have struck a chord with readers, which I’m happy with. I have several relatives who worked in or with the Swedish military over the years, and while I’m at heart a pacifist, the sad truth is that we need the military. Not just for war, but for catastrophe aid, be it natural or man-made.
Fort Gordon is a real place where the Signal Corps is trained and educated. I tried to look at real U.S. Army uniforms for reference, but I probably got some details wrong. Let’s call it artistic freedom while pretending I didn’t make a couple of mistakes!
