Omar is always a fun character to draw, since he has these exaggerated features and Floyd Gottfredson eyes. He can easily express an array of emotions with minimal changes to his face. And drawing a younger Kaz is always fun, even if it’s only taking away the wrinkles under her eyes and making her face a bit rounder. Her family dynamic is so different from Curly’s upbringing that it’s at times hard not to push the humor too far. With Curly, I can go bananas, but Kaz is more grounded and had a fairly normal life until she met Curly.
In other news, I started playing Persona 5 Royal, and I can’t for the world understand how I missed this masterpiece! The art direction, presentation, and music are phenomenal, and it’s a joy to boot up the console and play through a week or two in the Phantom Thieves’ lives!
