The idea of a mythical witch from American folklore using regular security cameras and a laptop is kinda funny to me. I wanted her to feel like a normal, sweet old lady who lives in this weird apartment full of occult paraphernalia. Much like my own mum, even if she had a slightly more religious theme to her medium stuff.
Eccentric people live in huts at the outskirts of villages, and get called witches. Mother Leeds is still eccentric, but old enough to know how to blend in to avoid being targeted by hunters. I aso feel bad for Shuster Simon Shumann, being forced back into the lion’s den by a crazed vigilante, but cest la vie.
