The Hook Cove Gazette Interview
Here’s an odd one, an interview “Curly” made with the Hook Cove Gazette as part of a promotion for Curly vol 1: Devils, Demons & Degenerates. Hook Cove is a fictional coastal town from the dirty mind of my good friend and deranged Irishman D.A. Holmes. We’ve collaborated on numerous occasions throughout the years. I made the covers for his Coffin trilogy about the socially awkward vampire Vlad Radu, who struggles to find his place in the world of humans. I also wrote a few stories for the Hook Cove Gazette and the occasional Bigfoot comic. We usually beta-read each other’s stories and try to come up with constructive criticism.
This version of the interview has been updated and edited for the upcoming Volume 2 of Curly. I spent way too long on the retro newspaper design and mock ads. Oh, and yes, it’s canon.
